Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the North Carolina Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population was 1,170,360; and represented 21.95% of the total North Carolina female population in 2020.

Mecklenburg County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (188,253), followed by Wake County (118,770), and Guilford County (100,368).

On the other hand, Mitchell County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (33), followed by Graham County (39), and Clay County (63).
