Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, the New York Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population was 1,523,542; and represented 15.08% of the total New York female population in 2016.

Kings County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (440,246), followed by Bronx County (229,272), and Queens County (226,410).

On the other hand, Hamilton County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (14), followed by Wyoming County (53), and Schuyler County (68).
