Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, the Michigan Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population was 722,745; and represented 14.27% of the total Michigan female population in 2017.

Wayne County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (363,293), followed by Oakland County (95,839), and Macomb County (55,944).

On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (5), followed by Ontonagon County (10), and Luce County (10).
