Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, the Michigan Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population was 728,338; and represented 14.47% of the total Michigan female population in 2010.

Wayne County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (392,851), followed by Oakland County (90,466), and Genesee County (46,807).

On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (1), followed by Ontonagon County (2), and Iron County (4).
