Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, the Black or African American Alone female population in Texas was 2,140,578 and represented 14.00% of the total Texas female population (15,287,209).

Among Texas counties, Harris County had the highest Black or African American Alone female population (543,055), followed by Dallas County (334,711), and Tarrant County (222,918).
