Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the Black or African American Alone female population in Texas was 1,660,660 and represented 12.64% of the total Texas female population (13,141,745).

Among Texas counties, Harris County had the highest Black or African American Alone female population (442,495), followed by Dallas County (303,242), and Tarrant County (156,281).
