According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the number of births for Alaska was 9,014. Anchorage had the highest number of births (3,624), followed by Fairbanks North Star (1,375), and Matanuska-Susitna (1,367) On the other hand, Yakutat had the lowest number of births (1), followed by Skagway (8), and Bristol Bay (13).
