Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 28,930,220 and represented 12.53% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.38M), followed by Georgia (2.36M), and Florida (2.17M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (46.30%), followed by Mississippi (36.73%), and Georgia (32.09%).
