Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 29,128,205 and represented 12.48% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.42M), followed by Georgia (2.40M), and Florida (2.22M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (45.37%), followed by Mississippi (36.67%), and Georgia (32.10%).
