Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 28,603,020 and represented 12.50% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.34M), followed by Georgia (2.31M), and Florida (2.13M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (47.08%), followed by Mississippi (36.61%), and Georgia (31.81%).
