Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 27,520,240 and represented 12.37% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.18M), followed by Georgia (2.16M), and Florida (1.99M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (48.64%), followed by Mississippi (36.00%), and Louisiana (31.05%).
