Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 27,115,005 and represented 12.32% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.13M), followed by Georgia (2.13M), and Florida (1.94M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (49.23%), followed by Mississippi (35.79%), and Louisiana (30.96%).
