Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 25,437,215 and represented 12.10% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Georgia had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (1.95M), followed by Texas (1.95M), and New York (1.81M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (52.15%), followed by Mississippi (34.97%), and Georgia (30.14%).
