According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 89,856 total arrests made in US suburban areas for aggravated assault offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (58.52K), followed by Black or African American (29.13K), and Asian (1.31K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 77,424 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (59.75K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (17.67K).
