According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 87,954 total arrests made in US suburban areas for aggravated assault offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (57.59K), followed by Black or African American (28.12K), and Asian (1.23K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 77,257 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (59.14K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (18.11K).
