According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 21,298 total arrests made in the US for vagrancy offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (13.71K), followed by Black or African American (5.01K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (1.87K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 18,668 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (14.57K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (4.10K).
