According to data from the World Bank, in 2025, among all African countries, Madagascar had the highest male labor force participation rate (88.09%), followed by Tanzania (87.31%), and then Niger (86.5%). On the other hand, Sao Tome and Principe had the lowest male labor force participation rate (23.95%).
