HATS Category III- Water and Feed Availability On February 27th at approximately 7:05 AM IPP went to livestock pens to perform antemortem inspection. While walking around the pens, IPP observed that there was no water in the trough that provides water to pen 4. There were 2 beef cows in the pen. The water in the though located in pen 2 was frozen and did not provide water for the 4 dairy cows that were held there. I verbally notified the establishment owner of the noncompliance. No regulatory control action was taken as he immediately provided water to the animals. Since the establishment start date is recent, records did not identify any recent noncompliance with the same root cause and this NR will not be associated.
