Vehicle May Pass a Stopped School Bus
Waymo LLC (Waymo) is recalling certain 5th Generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS) operating a software version prior to the November 5, 2025 release. The software may cause the vehicle to pass a stopped school bus even when the red lights are flashing and/or stop arm is extended.

Corrective Action:

Software May Cause Vehicle to Hit Roadway Barrier
Waymo LLC (Waymo) is recalling certain 5th Generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS) with software versions released prior to the November 7, 2024 software release. The software may cause the vehicles to collide with certain roadway barriers, such as chains and gates.
