ON CERTAIN HORSE TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH ELECTRIC BRAKES WHICH ARE BUILT WITH A BREAK-AWAY CONTROL UNIT. THESE UNITS ARE NOT WIRED CORRECTLY.

Consequence Summary:

IN THE EVENT OF A SEPARATION OF THE TRUCK AND TRAILER, THE DRIVER MAY EXPERIENCE A LOSS OF BRAKES WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.

Corrective Action:

DEALERS WILL REWIRE THE BREAK-AWAY CONTROL UNITS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 6, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT EBY AT 1-800-292-4752.
