Towed Vehicle May Detach From Pin Box
Lippert is recalling certain Curt Helux Pin Boxes, part numbers 2024032921, 2024032924, 2024032925 and 2024113005; installed in Lippert 5W Chassis. The pin box fasteners may have been improperly tightened.

Consequence Summary:
The fasteners can loosen and fall out, allowing the tow vehicle to detach from the pin box and increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action:

Improperly Installed Hub Oil Seal May Leak Oil
Lippert is recalling certain Lippert Utility Hub Oil Seals with part number, 276712. The oil seals may have been improperly installed, which can cause oil to leak onto the brake system.

Incorrect Capacity on Label/FMVSS 105
Lippert (Lippert) is recalling certain MTP 20K Surge Brake Couplers with part number 2023050981. The couplers may have an incorrect label stating a capacity of 20,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) when the accurate capacity is 19,000 lbs. GVWR, which can allow the brake system to be overloaded. As such, these couplers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 105, "Hydraulic and electric brake systems."
