Loose Handlebar Lock Screw May Detach and Interfere with Steering

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2025 CMX300, CMX500, and CL500 motorcycles. The handlebar lock screw may loosen and detach.

Consequence Summary:
A detached screw may lodge between the frame and stem, interfering with steering and increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Corrective Action:
Dealers will replace the lock screw and apply thread lock, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 8, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KUO. Instrument Panel and Rearview Camera Displays May Fail/FMVSS 101,111,305

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 Acura ZDX and Prologue vehicles. Due to a software error, the instrument panel display may fail. Additionally, a software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, "Control and Displays," 111, "Rear Visibility," and 305, "Electric-Powered Vehicles."

Consequence Summary:
An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash or injury. Additionally, the loss of the rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Corrective Action:
Dealers will update the vehicle radio control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 20, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are TNL and XNK. Driver's Seat Frame Improperly Tightened/FMVSS 207

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, and 2024 HR-V, Pilot, and Acura Integra vehicles. The driver's seat cushion frame may not have been tightened properly, which can result in a loose seat. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."
