BRAKES:AIR SYSTEMS:LINES:HOSE:NON-METALLIC

HOSE FAILS TO MEET REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 106, PAR. S7 3.7 ADHESION BETWEEN THE OUTER CORNER AND THE BRAIDS. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: ANY FAILURE OF BRAKE HOSE WOULD CAUSE LOSS OF AIR PRESSURE AND COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT. HOWEVER, HIGHWAY TRACTOR TRAILER UNITS ARE EQUIPPED WITH FAIL SAFE LOCKUP BRAKING IN THE EVENT OF LOSS OF AIR PRESSURE.
