ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE BATTERY (YTX24HL) COULD FAIL DURING OPERATION.

Consequence Summary:
THE BATTERY FAILURE CAUSES THE MOTORCYCLE ENGINE TO STOP SUDDENLY, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
Corrective Action:
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THESE BATTERIES. THE RECALL BEGAN SEPTEMBER 1, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT AMERICAN IRONHORSE AT 1-817-665-2074.
