Front Axle Load May Fail

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2017-2024 Ford E350 van chassis equipped with a AT200A devices. The units mounted on certain Ford E350 van chassis with Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) of 4050 and 4200 pounds, may fail at high loads due to a defect in the front axle.

Lower Boom May Fail

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 1995-1996 AM and AN aerial devices. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. The hydraulic cylinder head gland may have been improperly manufactured, which can result in it detaching from the barrel of the cylinder while under load, leaving the lower boom unsupported.

Lights May Fail From Overloaded Wiring/FMVSS 108

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2024 aerial devices, digger diggers, pressure diggers, service trucks, reel lifters, pressure washers, and articulating crane models built on a Freightliner M2 Plus chassis. Please refer to Altec's recall report for specific vehicle make and model details. The lighting wire harness may be overloaded, preventing the vehicle lighting from illuminating. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
