Dump Truck Hoist May Fail

Alamo Group Inc. (Alamo) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Old Dominion Brush Company DCL1000SE25, DCL800SM30, DCL800SM25, DCL800SM20, DCL800TM30, DCL800TM25, DCL800TM20, and DCL750 vehicles. The bolt between the connecting rod and yoke on the hoist can shear, resulting in hoist failure.

Hoist failure can lead to the dump body dropping and colliding forcefully with the chassis, increasing the risk of injury.
Corrective Action:
Dealers will inspect the hoist and add a pressure relief valve and replace the bolt, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 20, 2024. Owners may contact Old Dominion Brush Company customer service at 804-887-4541.

Water Tank Strap May Detach From Vehicle

Alamo Group, Inc. (Alamo Group) is recalling certain 2014-2019 Super Products Camel and Mud Dog vehicles. The tie rod could disconnect from the water tank strap, allowing the water tank strap to detach from the top of the vehicle.

Corrective Action:

Exhaust Silencer May Detach

Alamo Group Inc. (Alamo Group) is recalling certain 2018-2021 AllVac AVRB-18 vehicles. The vibration from vacuum operations could lead to the exhaust silencer welds cracking, resulting in detachment of the exhaust silencer from the vehicle.

A detached exhaust silencer can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action:
Gradall Dealers will inspect the exhaust silencer and repair any cracked welds, reattach any detached silencers, and weld a c-shape bracket from the silencer to the power frame, free of charge. Direct-sales owners will be provided instructions and parts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 17, 2023. Owners may contact Gradall customer service at 1-800-382-8302.
