According to data from the CDC, the overall number of fatal drug overdose deaths in Indiana for all drugs was 2,136, and the age adjusted overdose death rate per 100,000 persons was 32.6. The following types of drugs were among the drugs that were involved with high number of overdose deaths: Any Opioids (1,655), Illegally-made Fentanyls (1,548), Any stimulants (1,210), and Methamphetamine (759).
