Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, the Birth Rate per 1K for the United States was 12.34. Among all US states and DC, Utah had the highest birth rate (16.87), followed by Alaska (15.24), and North Dakota (15.09).

On the other hand, New Hampshire had the lowest birth rate (9.24) followed by Vermont (9.35), and Maine (9.55).
