Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, among all Texas counties, Jefferson County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (33.03%), followed by Bowie County (25.14%), and Waller County (24.61%).
