Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, among all Tennessee counties, Shelby County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (52.07%), followed by Haywood County (50.21%), and Hardeman County (41.27%).
