Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, among all North Dakota counties, Ward County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (2.61%), followed by Cass County (2.57%), and Grand Forks County (2.23%).
