According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net migration for New Mexico was 10,532. Doña Ana County had the highest net migration (2,563) followed by Sandoval County (1,988), and Santa Fe County (1,708). On the other hand, Bernalillo County had the lowest net migration (-675), followed by Curry County (-311), and Roosevelt County (-171).

Net migration for a county refers to the difference between the number of migrants, both domestic and international, moving to the county and those leaving the county. Or to put it simply, the net migration for a given county is the inbound migration minus the outbound migration for that county.
