According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net international migration for New Jersey was 107,943. Hudson County had the highest net international migration (19,307) followed by Essex County (16,654), and Middlesex County (14,735). On the other hand, Salem County had the lowest net international migration (77), followed by Cape May County (105), and Sussex County (260).

Net International migration for a given county refers to the difference between the number of people moving to the county from other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia) and the number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States.
