Louisiana Net International Migration By County in 2023

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net international migration for Louisiana was 19,250. Jefferson Parish had the highest net international migration (5,035) followed by East Baton Rouge Parish (3,386), and Orleans Parish (1,881). On the other hand, Acadia Parish had the lowest net international migration (-6), followed by St. Charles Parish (-3), and Jefferson Davis Parish (-1).

Net International migration for a given county refers to the difference between the number of people moving to the county from other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia) and the number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States.
