According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net domestic migration rate for New Mexico was -0.7. Harding County had the highest net domestic migration rate (26.77) followed by Torrance County (20.97), and Sierra County (18.59). On the other hand, McKinley County had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-15.44), followed by Luna County (-13.58), and Curry County (-10.58).
