According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net domestic migration rate for Mississippi was -1.68. Stone County had the highest net domestic migration rate (27.27) followed by Issaquena County (13.98), and Pearl River County (13.72). On the other hand, Yazoo County had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-65.68), followed by Tallahatchie County (-49.11), and Sharkey County (-40.83).
