According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2018, the net domestic migration for Tennessee was 42,418. Rutherford County had the highest net domestic migration (5,419) followed by Williamson County (4,464), and Montgomery County (3,606). On the other hand, Shelby County had the lowest net domestic migration (-5,288), followed by Davidson County (-4,394), and Haywood County (-285).
