According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the net domestic migration for New Mexico was -7,260. Lea County had the highest net domestic migration (524) followed by Sandoval County (468), and Santa Fe County (224). On the other hand, Bernalillo County had the lowest net domestic migration (-1,488), followed by San Juan County (-952), and McKinley County (-716).
