According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net domestic migration for Maine was 9,598. York County had the highest net domestic migration (2,109) followed by Penobscot County (1,647), and Kennebec County (998). On the other hand, Knox County had the lowest net domestic migration (13), followed by Cumberland County (217), and Sagadahoc County (236).
