Georgia Net Domestic Migration By County in 2011

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the net domestic migration for Georgia was 17,118. Fulton County had the highest net domestic migration (11,955) followed by Gwinnett County (4,231), and Chatham County (3,877). On the other hand, DeKalb County had the lowest net domestic migration (-3,974), followed by Richmond County (-1,815), and Clayton County (-1,117).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
