Connecticut Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2013

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, there were 523,790 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Connecticut and they represented 14.57% of the total population of Connecticut in 2013.

Fairfield County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (170,224), followed by Hartford County (148,294), and New Haven County (141,024). On the other hand, Tolland County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (7,301), followed by Middlesex County (9,019), and Litchfield County (9,521).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Fairfield County had the highest percentage (18.11%), followed by Hartford County (16.52%), and New Haven County (16.34%).
