Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 221,034 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 8.05% of the total population of Nevada in 2012. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (206,322), followed by Washoe County (9,437), and Nye County (1,265). On the other hand, Esmeralda County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (7), followed by Eureka County (8), and Lander County (41).
