Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 489,050 people that identified as Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone in California and they represented 1.24% of the total population of California in 2017. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone population (127,195), followed by San Bernardino County (36,225), and Riverside County (34,736). On the other hand, Sierra County had the lowest number of Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native alone (23), followed by Alpine County (41), and Mariposa County (139).
