According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the number of deaths for New York was 149,781. Kings had the highest number of deaths (16,116), followed by Queens (13,884), and Suffolk (11,569). On the other hand, Hamilton had the lowest number of deaths (49), followed by Schuyler (214), and Lewis (236).
