According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2013, the number of deaths for Montana was 9,443. Yellowstone had the highest number of deaths (1,463), followed by Missoula (826), and Flathead (820). On the other hand, Treasure had the lowest number of deaths (5), followed by Petroleum (5), and Carter (8).
