According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the number of deaths for Minnesota was 49,940. Hennepin had the highest number of deaths (9,776), followed by Ramsey (4,892), and Dakota (3,164). On the other hand, Red Lake had the lowest number of deaths (40), followed by Lake of the Woods (41), and Traverse (54).
