According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the number of deaths for Connecticut was 29,064. Hartford had the highest number of deaths (7,739), followed by New Haven (7,579), and Fairfield (6,304). On the other hand, Tolland had the lowest number of deaths (948), followed by Windham (987), and Middlesex (1,429).
