According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the death rate for Louisiana was 9.44. Catahoula had the highest death rate (15.37), followed by Bienville (14.99), and Morehouse (14.65). On the other hand, Ascension had the lowest death rate (6.41), followed by Cameron (7.38), and Lafayette (7.4).
