According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2013, the death rate for Florida was 9.35. Citrus had the highest death rate (17.52), followed by Highlands (15.16), and Hernando (14.51). On the other hand, Orange had the lowest death rate (5.92), followed by Osceola (6.36), and Leon (6.59).
