Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the Black or African American Alone female population in Virginia was 892,462 and represented 20.44% of the total Virginia female population (4,366,278).

Among Virginia counties, Fairfax County had the highest Black or African American Alone female population (62,873), followed by Henrico County (56,745), and Richmond city (56,256).
